Ellie was only interested in one–to–one relationships, so, as rakishly handsome as he was, Daniel Thackery wasn't her kind of man. But she had to keep him talking: he certainly seemed to be up to no good and even more importantly he knew the whereabouts of her sister's estranged husband.
