Con artist Warren Allison is on the run. He has only a suitcase and a satchel full of money when a hastily arranged ride drops him off at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. When he learns that this place is one of the most isolated spots in the continental United States, he decides it would be the perfect place to hide out for the summer. He gets a job at the lodge and is very confident that none of his pursuers will be able to track him down as long as he stays on the North Rim Warren got very lucky recently when he managed to steal some valuable coins in New Zealand. But now, it's time for his enemies to get lucky.
