In this the 100th issue of the Baba Indaba’s Children's Stories series, Baba Indaba narrates one of the most famous German fairytales - “Hansel and Grettel”. A poor woodcutter is widowed and quickly remarries for the sake of his two children. But the new wife turns out to be less than satisfactory. Finances are also quite tight and the convinces the woodcutter to take his children into the forest and leave them there thus lightening the burden. This they do but Hansel and Grettel turn out to be more resourceful that their parents expected them to be. Download and read this classic fairytale to you kids and introduce another generation to this fantastic tale.
